Tänä vuonna, 2023, emme järjestä Shamanistia kokoontumista ja konferenssia. Saimme kielteisiä apurahapäätöksiä ja järjestäjien tulisi saada edes jonkinlainen toimeentulo. Seuraava kokoontuminen pyritään järjestämään syksyllä 2024.
 
This year, 2023, we are unable to organize the Shamanic Gathering and Conference due to denied funding applications and the need for all organizers to have a livelihood of some sort. We look towards gathering in the autumn, 2024.

Muutoksen virtauksessa – Väen voima

Luethan allaolevan tekstin ensin huolellisesti ennen kuin täytät hakulomakkeen. Itse lomake löytyy tekstin lopusta.

Olemme kiitollisia kiinnostuksestasi tapahtumaamme kohtaan. Tällä lomakkeella voit jättää hakemuksesi shamanistisen työpajan, seremonian tai käsityöpajan ohjaajaksi, luennoitsijaksi tai keskustelun ohjaajaksi.

Me tapahtuman järjestäjät kokoonnuimme yhteen visioimaan tulevaa kokoontumista ja konferenssia. Puhuimme siitä, kuinka säikeet jälleen kerran kerääntyvät yhteen ja kuinka kudomme kokonaisuudeksi meidän kaikkien neljän organisoijan näyt. Me etsimme yhteistä säiettä, niiden luomaa laulua ja saimme nostettua esiin teeman: Muutoksen virtauksessa – Väen voima.

Mitä tarkoittaa sana Väki?

Väki voi tarkoittaa kansaa tai ihmisjoukkoa, se voi myös viitata nelijalkaisiin, siivellisiin, ryömiviin ja mateleviin sukulaisiimme

Väki, riippuen keneltä kysyy tai kenen tutkijan tekstejä lukee, voi tarkoittaa:

  • Persoonatonta voimaa, joka löytyy kaikista olennoista ja ilmiöistä (J. Hautala 1960:13)
  • Erilaiset entiteetit voivat omata väkeä: kalman väki, hautuumaan väki, metsän ja metsän olentojen väki, veden väki ( veden kaikissa muodoissa), maan/mullan väki, löylyn väki, pyhien ikoneiden väki, tulen väki, naisen väki (sekä henkilön olemus että sukupuolen olemus) ja paljon muuta (L. Stark-Arola, 1998)
  • Kaikki nämä’ olennot pitävät sisällään voimaa, joka voi parantaa ja voimauttaa tai aiheuttaa vahinkoa ja sairauksia (L. Stark-Arola, 1998)
  • Voiman siirtymisen käsite: erilaisten voimien yhteenliittämistä sekä myös yhteentörmäystä kilpailua yhteensopimattomien voimien välillä (S. Apo, 1995a)
  • Samankaltaisia sanoja, eivät kuitenkaan tarkoita täysin samaa: mana (Malesia), meginn (Skandinavia), orenda (Iroquois), onni, pyhä (L. Stark-Arola, 1998) 

Nämä ilmaukset ja sanat ovat tarkoitettuja johdatteleviksi ja pyydämme että tarjoamasi ohjelma heijastaa tätä teemaa.

Ohjelmista

Etsimme pidempiä 3 tunnin ohjelmia, ja 2 tunnin sekä 1,5 tunnin ohjelmia. Saattaa olla mahdollista ottaa mukaan tätäkin pidempikestoisia ohjelmia, jos kyseessä on osallistava seremonia. Kun harkitset omaa ohjelmatarjoustasi, pyydämme, että luet mitä olemme kirjoittaneet teemasta ja huomioit että ohjelmasi tulee liittyä siihen. Olet tervetullut tarjoamaan useampaa ohjelmaa/työpajaa jos tunnet kutsun. Voit esimerkiksi tarjota kahta lyhyempää.

KUSTANNUKSET – KULUKORVAUKSET

Haluamme tarjota kaikille valituille esiintyjille ilmaisen majoituksen ja ruuan sekä maksuttoman sisäänpääsyn tapahtumaan. Jos ohjelmatarjouksesi valitaan, olet vastuussa ainoastaan omista matkakuluistasi.

Jotta pystymme tarjoamaan kaiken tämän esiintyjille, olemme muokanneet lippujen hintoja. Pyydämme nöyrästi, että pyrit olemaan läsnä koko tapahtuman ajan osallistuen meidän kaikkien muiden osallistujien rinnalla ohjelmaan, joka toiveissamme on täynnä kauneutta, iloa ja merkitýksellisyyttä.

Majoitus: Jos haluat majoittua telttaan tai asuntovaunuun, kerrothan tästä meille . Jos haluat majoittua yhden hengen huoneeseen, lähetämme sinulle laskun yhden hengen ja kahden hengen huoneen välisestä erotuksesta. Tavoitteemme on saada kaikki esiintyjät majoitettua 2-3 hengen huoneisiin omalla kylpyhuoneella muiden ohjemanvetäjien kanssa. Näihin huoneisiin kuuluvat liinavaatteet.

Osallistuminen: Useiden vuosien aikana muista tapahtumista kerääntyneen kokemuksen perusteella, olemme tänä vuonna erityisen kiinnostuneita heistä, jotka sitoutuvat saapumaan avausseremoniaan torstaina ja lähtemään lopetusseremonian jälkeen sunnuntaina. Energia muuttuu – he jotka tulevat ja lähtevät tapahtuman aikana vaikuttavat suuresti intimiteettiin ja yhteisöllisyyden kokemukseen.

Liittyen COVID-19: Tammisaari, Raasepori ja Lohja ovat lähimpiä kaupunkeja joissa on mahdollista käydä testissä, jos tähän syntyy tarvetta. Tapahtumapaikalta löytyy useita käsienpesupisteitä, tarjolla myös käsidesiä.

Järjestäjät sekä HubFenix seuraavat koronatilannetta. Tällä hetkellä emme vaadi passeja tai kotitestausta ennen saapumista.

Tulemme tekemään päätöksiä ohjelmasta huhtikuun alussa ja toivomme saavamme ilmoitettua näistä kaikille hakijoille 1.5. mennessä.

Olemme sinuun yhteydessä jos meillä on kysyttävää tai tarvitsemme tarkennuksia. Jos tarjoat useampaa ohjelmanumeroa, sinun tulee täyttää jokaiselle oma  hakemus TAI selkeästi ilmoittaa, että hakemuksessasi on useampi erillinen ohjelmaehdotus.

INKLUSIIVINEN TAPAHTUMA

Shamanistinen kokoontuminen ja konferenssi on inklusiivinen tapahtuma, jossa noudatamme yhtäläisten mahdollisuuksien periaatteita. Osallistumalla sitoudut tasa-arvoiseen ja kunnioittavaan käytökseen kaikkia paikalla olevia kohtaan, riippumatta iästä, rodusta, koulutuksesta, poliittisista aatteista, seksuaalisesta suuntautumisesta, sukupuolesta, sukupuoli-identiteetistä, sukupuolen ilmaisusta, kyvykkyydestä, terveydentilasta tai muista tekijöistä riippumatta. Näiden periaatteiden noudattamatta jättäminen, tai muu häiritsevä käytös, saattaa johtaa tapahtumasta poistamiseen.

In the Current of Change – Power of Väki

Please read the following text thoroughly before completing the registration form. The form is found at the end of the text.

Thank you for your interest in submitting an application for leading a participatory workshop, making ceremony, offering a presentation, leading a discussion or a handcrafting shamanic tools workshop. 

The organisers gathered together and sought out visions for this year’s gathering-conference. We spoke of how threads are once more being gathered and how to weave all four vision’s together. We searched for the common threads, we listened for a theme song and this is what formed: In the Current of Change – power of väki.

Key words: gathering as one for the earth, old, red deer, gold, reindeer, snake, steam, kraft-power, empowerment, sparkling dust, swirling dust, song, swirls, dragons, dance, birds, red, winds, embodiment, bodily knowledge, current (in all forms and meanings), gathering, cycles, joining together, mother earth, changing, transmuting, pulling, flowing, väki and more väki. 

Väki? We have decided to keep this Finnish word and attempt to open it up a small bit for those who do not know Finnish. 

Väki can mean “the people”; a large or small group of people; even a group of our relatives- the four-legged, winged ones, crawlers and creepers, etc. 

Väki, depending on whom you speak with or which researcher you follow: 

  • can mean “impersonal force or power belonging to all beings and phenomena” (J. Hautala 1960:13)
  • different entities may possess väki: death, cemeteries, burial; forest and forest creatures; water in any form; earth/dirt/land; sauna steam; holy icons; fire; female (personal essence and gendered essence), and more (L. Stark-Arola, 1998)
  • All these entities contain a power which can heal and empower or cause harm, infect illness (L. Stark-Arola, 1998)
  • Concept of power transferral: combining different powers as well as collision and contest between incompatible powers (S. Apo, 1995a)
  • Similar words but not exactly the same mana (Malesian), meginn (old Scandinavian), orenda (Iroquois), luck (onni), the sacred (L. Stark-Arola, 1998) 

We offer these phrases and words as guides and ask that your offering reflects this theme. 

We are seeking out longer 3 hr slots, 2 hr as well as 1.5 hr slots. There may be even possibility for longer ones if it is an involved ceremony. Whilst considering your contribution, please read what we have written about the theme and this must tie into your offering. Please offer more than one if you feel led. Please offer two different short ones, for example.

COSTS – REIMBURSEMENTS

We would like to gift all presenters who are selected free room and board as well as participating for free during the entire event. Should your programme  be chosen, you are responsible only for your travel expenses to and from HubFeenix, the site of this year’s gathering. 

To offer this to the presenters we have adjusted the ticket prices. We humbly ask that you try to be present during the entire conference participating, we hope, alongside all of us in what we hope is a very fruitful, beautiful, joy-filled and meaningful programme.

Lodgings: should you want to be in a tent or caravan, let us know. If you want to be in a single room suite we will invoice you the difference between the single room cost and double room cost. We aim to have all presenters in 2-3 person rooms with their own bath or shared bath with other presenters. All linens are included.

Invitations: Because Shamanic Centre of Finland is a registered association we can easily provide official invitations which can be used for seeking out grants and other financial assistance, for example for travelling.

Participation: from many, many years of accumulated experience from other events we have decided that this year we are very interested in those who commit to arrive for the opening ceremony on Thursday and leave after the closing ceremony on Sunday. The energy shifts, the intimacy  and sense of community is greatly influenced by those who pop in and out.

Regarding COVID19: Tammisaari, Raasepori and Lohja are the nearest towns where medical offices are located should one need at that time, testing. There are many washing stations in the building. Also available is hand disinfectant. 

By the time August arrives, many things will have changed. Again. We pray for the better. We are sending out prayers that kindness and concern for all will be the rule of the day. 

The organisers and HubFeenix are following the situation. At the moment we do not require passports nor at-home tests prior to arrival.

APPLICATION PERIOD HAS ENDED. We will be making decisions in early April and hope to inform all applicants by May 1st.

We will contact you if we have questions or need clarification. If you submit more than one session you will need to fill out the application twice OR make it clear that there is more than one offering.
